This company deserves ZERO stars
This company deserves ZERO stars . Worst transportation service I have ever experienced. Half the stuff onboard is broken . I paid extra for assigned seating which were more uncomfortable then general seating . There are zero rules or expectations on board . It's a free for all . Customers are allowed to be unsafe and cause hazards .
We had to crawl into the luggage area underneath to retrieve our luggage afterwards because it had been thrown so far back that it was unreachable. Customer service is appalling. They cut and paste the same message over and over . No acknowledgment of any issues and no recognition of any customer suggestions.
Public transportation at less then half of this bus service and a much better experience, then this horrific company .
They advertise free wifi and plug ins. FALSE . Half of the seats don't recline. Broken .
Please DONT waste your time with this company . I recommend Flixbus , Peter Pan or greyhound .

Horrified - I was very upset as I had just lost my father and I felt very unstable I asked the driver if I could go for a walk to calm down as I was having a panic attack he turned around and said we all have issues and he mentioned he’s personal difficulties with depression this made me worse and even more upset he said to me he wants to go and if I got off I weren’t coming back on so I got off and he closed the doors and drove off despite watching me in a vulnerable state I find this disturbing to have been shouted at when I was feeling emotional and I am not happy this driver humiliated me in public although I had a ticket I explained my situation and he still shouted and embarrassed me. Never ever recommend. Also the dirty toilets made me sick and there is 1 (5 min break) disgusting. I felt like an animal in a cage. Never want that experience again. Racist.

WORST
WORST! What was supposed to be a 4 hour at the most drive from nyc to Boston turned out to be 6 hours and no traffic! Driver took us north through Manhattan which took forever and then upstate and all the way west into Nyack before he circled around. 2 hours in everyone was wondering why we were still seeing the same view of the city. We left in the morning there wasn’t a hint of highway traffic. Then he went the longest route upstate . I’ve driven between these 2 cities hundreds of times and taken buses- never saw this long pointless route. He just wasted everyone’s time and constantly braked jerking us all around needlessly. And now everyone will have to deal with rush hour in Boston on account of how late we were and pay twice for our Ubers. Total incompetence they should be out of business
It's my first trip on bus ..
It's my first trip on bus ... It has been 30 mn since départor ... And so far it's hell of mess... In the whole bus there are aproximitly 80 places ... But just few peopole has there seat's number .. and the others don't .. me my self i didn't find a place because every time you chose a place .. some body would came and tell you .. that it's his place ... God is it so déficcult to give every one a place number !!! Stupid company.. with out mentioning that i couldn't reseve a ticket online because evry time the opération failed ...and finaly you need to call them and pay extra 7 dollars for boking by phone ... That's so fu**ing stupid

You left my young son stranded at a bus stop in Minnesota waiting for a bus to Madison Wisconsin. No communication on your part that the bus had been cancelled.
He spent money on Uber to get to the bus stop.
Then, while stranded at the bus stop, he had to wait on the phone line for an hour to get through to you to find out the situation.
Then he had to find another service
Then he had to UBER to a new bus stop with a more reliable service, incurring a further charge.
And he missed his pick up ride on the other end so had to UBER on that end.
And he missed the event he was going to (a concert)
Total cost to him of your complete lack of professionalism was over $175.
And to add insult to injury, you didn't even refund the full amount.
You've got ONE JOB as a bus company.....to show up or communicate that you won't be there. If you can't even do that, you should just close shop.

Suffocating from toilet smell!
I am giving 2* because service is on time and drivers are polite and nice.
Other than that, did not realise a budget trip including extra payment for a front seat meant suffocating with a toilet smell the entire 3h journey. Guess seats 1 and 2 are above the downstairs toilet and by end of the day, the smell is faint-inducing. My dad went to the toilet itself and said he almost suffocated from disgust and smell. I get it is cheap, but it shouldn't be at the cost of not being able to breathe.

I would like to congratulate Megabus, buses on time, friendly drivers and staff. I will be honest that I normally take the train but due to the strikes I used Megabus. I will now continue to use Megabus. Really well done

I’ve taken Megabus before and it has been fine. People listen to music without headphones but majority of my trips with them have been bearable. Last experience with them was hell on earth, got to the pick up location early and was in the right spot. Saw another bus that wasn’t Megabus pull up at least 15 minutes earlier and then leave, the bus that Megabus uses pulled around 5-10 late and just drove past the location, never stopping. After waiting 20-30 minutes after my departure time I call customer service and wait on hold for a bit being transferred and then being told they can’t locate my bus. After calling 4 more times waiting 20 minutes to 40 minutes on hold each time being told the same thing, I am finally told sorry your bus was on time and you missed it. I had waited for the bus for at least 5 hours that never stopped and nobody could find finally to be told it’s my fault. BS excuses and crap information given. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want to deal with that

Travel to experience and believe
The Megabus we travelled on today 17/06/22 which was the 12.15 was late by about 15 minutes. Then when we got on, we did not know what we were in for as it stands it was the hottest day ever in Bournemouth. There were no aircon facility and it was a horrible journey for us boiling with everything so secluded with no air whatsoever, which is not good enough for health reasons as well. We customers deserve better for the fares we are paying. Knowing fully well that in recent times we hear such positive news about Megabus and its improvements etc. It was not so as it says. So seeing is believing. I did complain to the driver and he said they gave him that coach and that it is not his fault and that we should complain.

I tried purchasing some tickets to toronto with megabus but it kept rejecting my card. I have taken megabus 2wice and i have never had this issue. it kept saying the order could not be completed and my account was not charged. i tried a couple more times as i have already called my bank and they said nothing was wrong with the purchase. Alas, i opened my transaction only to discover megabus has taken. $500 from my account 4 times. I called them and sent an email stating my concerns, they never sent me a ticket and they have stolen money from my account and their customer service buffoons kept saying they will pass my concerns to a supervisor who will call me back. They never did. I am taking this case to my bank to file for a fraud case and i will definitely be suing megabus. Never again! i will rather walk to toronto from montreal than use this transport system. Please STAY AWAY.This is a Fraud!!

Best service ever by Carl Bradly Atlanta, Ga
Carl Bradly of Atlanta, Ga was very helpful respectful and he met me across the street to help with my bags.. it was so helpful because my foot was really hurting and he had no idea. He was very pleasant and very protective over the people riding the mega bus in Atlanta. I felt very safe!
Late and no refunds
I was supposed to take a Megabus at noon today from Boston to NYC. Noon cane and went, no bus and no communication from Megabus. I calked them and was tokd that they couldn't track the bus and to call back in 10 minutes . So I called back and was told the bus was 69 minutes late. I guess the tracker was all of a sudden working . I asked for a refund and was told they did not give refunds. I finally just decided to take Flixbus because I did not trust what Megabus was telling me.
Thanks, Megabus! And their online bus tracker said the bus was on time, by the way. Awesome.
The bus driver was mean and cursed at…
The bus driver was mean and cursed at me just because I told him he should stop because other people were waiting. It was only one minute past our time. My first bus was 50 mins late so I'm not sure why that matters. If they don't have to update us I guess we MUST update them. These 3 poor people were stuck in the cold in New York when we had literally JUST moved an inch. I went down and said hey why don't you stop for a minute there's people waiting who paid, he waved me away and said "get the *f word* behind the line". I'm on bus DD504 and today is April 27th. I'm on the 8:15pm bus just so you guys know who this awful driver is. Many people upstairs were screaming for him to stop. He yelled and cursed at me and no one that angry should be driving anyone.
